If you cannot seem to edit/save your profile, or you get this notice at the top of your profile page:

The issue is that your "nickname" is taken already.

Here's how to fix it:

1. Click Edit Profile again.

2. Change your "Nickname" to something unique like "Jeffmagic" or "firstname-lastname".  You must use a nickname that no one else has already taken.

3. Click Save.

4. Now, click Edit Profile again.

5. You should now be able to edit and change all the other stuff in your profile and save it.
